All Nations Chess League (ANCL)

ANCL is one of the largest on line chess league; we play 90+5 slow matches,
we have our own rooms at playchess.com. The league is free to join.
All participants in the ANCL must have a full Playchess account (including a serial number), 20 slow games and a rank of knight or higher. Any player who has previously been found using assistance in rated games will be refused entrance to participate in the ANCL league.
we have a main site and a forum, at present there are 14 teams from all over the world, each team can have up to 12 members usually a captain and 1 or 2 vice captains.
Each week a line up of 6 players is made by captain to play against another team.
You then if chosen any given week, (you may well not play every week), use ANCL forum to arrange your match with your opponent agreeing on a time and day to play,
Also at ANCL we have a teaching school, simuls or lessons are given at playchess usually in room 5, where your participation /questions would be welcomed and answered, Lessons usually last for an hour each time, unless the teachers get so enthralled at the Questions they lose track of time.

All the above and more details can be seen at
Main site http://anclchess.net/
If anyone is interested and would like to join us, please do, it takes around 5-7 days to be accepted, please use your playchess nick when registering as user name. Once accepted you will then be added to forum site http://anclchess.net/forum/index.php

Kai Sim-Cyrano

Une nouvelle partie de Cyrano que je remercie de nouveau.
Kai_Sim - Cyrano
French defence
1. e4 e6
[Vive la France!]
2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. e5 c5 5. a3 Bxc3+ 6. bxc3 Ne7 7. Qg4 Qc7
[A very risky but fascinating choice. Castling is the actual choice]
8. Qxg7 Rg8 9. Qxh7 cxd4 10. Ne2 Nbc6 11. f4 Bd7 12. Qd3 dxc3 13. Nxc3 a6 14. Rb1 Rc8 15. h4 Nf5 16. Rh3 Nce7 17. Bd2 Bc6 18. h5 Nh6 19. Rg3 Rxg3 20. Qxg3 Nef5 21. Qh3 d4 22. Nd1 Qd8 23. g4 Nh4 24. Rb3 Bd5!?
[We are still 100% "book" but now 24... Be4 is more usual]
25. Rg3
[A novelty according to "my" book. 25.Rd3 and 25. c4 were played]
25... Rxc2 26. Be2
[26. Bd3!?]
26... Bc6 27. Bd3 Ra2 28. g5
[Worth considering was 28. Nf2 with an equal position]
28... N6f5 29. Bxf5 Nxf5 30. h6
[This pawn looks very dangerous...but ...]
31...Rxd2! 31. h7
[White is already in love with his future new queen, but better was 31. Kxd2 Nxg3 (or 31... Qa5+ 32. Kc1 Nxg3) 32. Qxg3 (Not 32. h7?? Qa5+ and black wins) 32... Qa5+ 33. Kc1 Be4]
31... Qa5 32. h8=Q+ Kd7 33. Rc3?
[Overlooking black's 34 move. Better was 33. Qf8 Rd3+ 34. Qb4 Qxb4+ 35. axb4
Rxg3 and black is slightly better]
33... dxc3 34. Nxc3 Rd4!!
[After this "silent" move black is winning!! Too many threats agains white's king...and two queens can't save him!]
35. Qf8 Kc7!
[There is no hurry. Black king is looking for a safe place.]
36. Qxf7+ Kb8 37. Qxe6 Nh4 38. Kf2 Qc5! 39. Qe3 Ng2 0-1
[White lost on time, but his position was hopeless]
